Snake Plant. Water when the soil is completely dry.
How much light DO I need?
Picture
Prefers more direct, bright light, but this plant is very tolerant of low-light spaces (it will just grow more slowly). Great for a bedroom, as it oxygenates at night!

Am I difficult to take care of?
Picture
The best way to kill a snake plant is by overwatering. This plant loves neglect, and proper drainage. To encourage strong root growth, place in a tray or bowl and put the water in the tray (rather than into the soil). This forces the roots to really reach down and anchor into the soil to get its water from the bottom.
