"As above, so below" is a principle that embodies the truth that there is always a correspondence between the laws and phenomena of the various planes of being and life. At The Plant Mystic, we bring the gifts of nature to support our life path, and we also recognize that we ARE nature. The outer world is a reflection of our inner world, creating a vibrational frequency that attracts similar experiences and circumstances into our lives. Our thoughts, beliefs and emotions shape our reality, so cultivating positive thoughts and intentions aligned with our life purpose can manifest opportunities and synchronicities that support our journey. In this way, we are active co-creators of our reality.

Reiki is a light-touch, energy based healing modality that supports the body in accessing life force energy to connect with it's innate ability to heal. Benefits can include:
Sessions are 75-90 minutes in length, including an introductory discussion to set a clear intention for the session, and a debrief after the session to discuss the messages that came through to support the person's journey and alignment with their intention.
Following each session, clients receive a written overview of the session for their own records.

I am delighted to extend an invitation this invitation to seekers, healers, and caregivers, for a unique and transformative opportunity to receive your Reiki Level 1 & 2 training and attunements. The spiritual practice of Reiki will enhance your connection with Source and enable you to access the higher dimensions to provide healing and guidance to yourself and others.
During this training, you will learn how to work with Source, your Higher Self, and the Higher Self of the client, to support personal development and healing processes. By understanding the principles and techniques of Reiki, you will gain the ability to channel energy and promote healing on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. Moreover, you will be taught how to maintain your own well-being while helping others, ensuring that you do not deplete your own energy reserves. We will also work through topics such as addictions, mental health, repatterning old beliefs, being trauma-informed, and how to create a professional healing practice. This sets the foundation for sustainable and effective healing work, allowing you to be a powerful source of support for those in need. |
This training will be a catalyst for personal and spiritual growth, as well as an empowering tool for assisting others on their journey. I encourage you to embrace this opportunity and embark on a path of self-discovery and service to humanity.

Level 1: One of the following Saturdays from 10-4pm: February 3rd, June 1st, or Oct 5th Level 2: One of the following Sundays from 10-4pm: Feb 4th, June 2nd, or October 6th (must be at least 21d after Level 1 completion) Fee and Structure: $800 for set of Level 1 & 2, with up to $300 available to be traded on barter*. Reiki ShareIf you are a Level 1, 2, or 3 practitioner and are looking for a Reiki Share that brings together practitioners of different lineages to give and receive to one another in a supportive, inclusive and professional atmosphere, then please consider joining us at our monthly Reiki Shares!
The Shares are held monthly on Tuesdays from 6-9pm, with our upcoming circles being March 26, April 30th, and May 28th. To Register, please join our Reiki Circle on the Inner Arts Hive (our complementary online circle for sharing resources and building connection), and RSVP within the "Home" section of the Hive within the event listing. No fee, though if possible we ask for a
PWYC donation for the space. |
About Melanie

Melanie is propelled by a dedication to wellness. She combines her lived experience, formal education (Esoteric Studies, Health Science, Eco-Therapy, Reiki) and 25 years in the health, research, and psycho-spiritual sectors to share the natural interconnectedness of nature, passage, energy and divination with her communities. She keeps one foot rooted in service delivery and the other in systemic change. Individual services include energy healing, hand analysis, and nature retreats. Systemic efforts are largely as Co-Founder of the Inner Arts Collective and the Rosseau Sanctuary, two intentional communities that promote access, collaboration, and integrity within the healing arts sector, based on the concepts of collaborative economy and ecological sustainability. Beginning with front-line addictions counselling (8 yrs), Melanie gained experience creating safe space, nurturing the healing process with mainstream and alternative tools and processes, and developing an awareness of issues around diversity and social determinants of health. Her career naturally evolved into program design, community research, and partnership initiatives (12 years), using findings to advocate across the social determinants of health at personal, organizational and systemic levels. Concurrent to her counselling and community development careers, Melanie practiced as a palmist (25yrs), with appearances on the Discovery Channel, Steve and Chris Show, Psychic Society of Toronto, and numerous radio shows. She began practicing Reiki when she became a mother in 2006, and has since done hundreds of sessions and taught dozens of Reiki practitioners internationally. |
For Melanie, the hand and the body are living maps, vessels responding to the conditions of their experience, with their own stories to tell. Reiki and Palmistry are simply tools to understand the story, reveal the strength and beauty of our nature, learn from our lessons, release what no longer serves, and become the most fulfilled versions of ourselves.
